Managing Clinical Director

Carmen has been a member of the Partington Behavior Analysts' consulting team since 1998.

She moved to California to mentor under Dr. Partington’s supervision after earning her Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical-Behavioral Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.  Carmen received her BCBA in 2011.

Carmen has worked for almost 15 years in the field of behavioral psychology. She is trained in B.F. Skinner’s methods of applied behavior analysis and verbal behavior, and provides training and consultation to families, school districts, and other professionals in Northern California, Los Angeles, New York, and Hong Kong.

Behavior Analyst

Marian joined Partington Behavior Analysts, Inc. in 2013 but has been working in conjunction with the company as a classroom teacher for Oakland Unified School District’s STARS model classrooms since 2002.  

In her ten years working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, she has worked in a variety of settings, including client’s homes, community, public and non-public schools.   Marian earned her B.A. with honors from UC Berkeley in psychology and completed research at UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco.  Marian obtained her teaching credential and Master’s of Education from Saint Mary’s College of California, with additional credentialing from San Francisco State University.  Her Master’s thesis focused how to teach imitation skills to learners on the spectrum and she presented these results at conferences with Dr. Partington in California, Illinois, and Spain.  She also co-authored a paper on the subject of imitation with Dr. Partington and Scott Partington.

Program Manager

Scott joined Partington Behavior Analysts in February 2015.

Scott is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Gerontology from UCLA. He also has a Masters of Art in Psychological Science from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.  He developed a strong background in ABA after having studied under and/or worked for some of the most renowned behavior analysts in the field including Ivar Lovaas, Jim Sherman, Steve Fawcett, and his father and director of Partington Behavior Analysts, James Partington. Prior to his work at the company, Scott spent most of his time conducting research on choice behavior and imitation.  He has presented his findings at poster sessions and as a presenter at professional ABAI conferences. Additionally, he has a publication in the flagship journal of the field—Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis—and in Autism Science Digest.
